A Mexico City native who’s grown up in the states but does everything in her power to maintain her culture very present in her life and transmitted through her designs.
I see design as my perfect link, my perfect gateway into combining the beauty of art and the need for functionality, resulting in beautifying the world while making it better.
My love and passion for design goes a long way back from my early childhood, to being surrounded by an extremely design oriented family, and my mission in making this world a better place for all of us.
Through sustainability, beautiful-pleasant aesthetics, and simple but extremely functioning mechanism, I take on each project and idea I get my hands on!
On another note:
behind the projects from my time at the University of Bridgeport I managed to get in the time to fit in 20+ hours of training weekly with full weekend meets for Bridgeport’s NCAA Women’s Swimming team under an athletic scholarship - or rather, I managed to design between those crazy training hours. either way, I am not entirely sure of how I did it, but I did.
being a student-athlete the past 11 years has kept me on my toes and has given me the organizational and perservearing characteristics I strongly own today and get to apply to my design and everyday self.
that’s me! ︎︎︎
even though my swimming career is over I still make time to keep myself active, exploring the outdoors in all four seasons, traveling, and recently made baking a hobby to give myself some work breaks along with crocheting and other endless crafts!
